Since its founding in November 1963, Sogo Development Co., Ltd. has expanded its business fields in response to changing times, guided by the slogan “Committed to Building Communities for the Long Term.”

Hotel Development and Management Business

Hyatt Regency Tokyo Bay was established under a franchise agreement between Hyatt Hotels Corporation,
a leading global hospitality group, and Sogo Development Co., Ltd., a real estate developer, through their respective affiliates.

The hotel is operated by Hotel Tokyo Bay Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Sogo Development. Under this internationally recognized brand,
we pursue a management approach rooted in the local community—bringing new vitality and distinctive appeal to the city of Urayasu.

Hyatt Regency Tokyo Bay is an urban resort hotel overlooking Tokyo Bay, located in the scenic bay area of Urayasu city. The hotel offers convenient access to Tokyo Disney Resort®, Makuhari Messe, and central Tokyo, making it an ideal destination for both leisure and business travelers.

Guest Rooms

The hotel features 350 guest rooms across 24 room types, including 10 suites.From family rooms that accommodate up to six guests, to ocean-view rooms with sweeping views of Tokyo Bay and terrace rooms with spacious outdoor areas, each space is designed to suit a variety of needs and lifestyles. Club floors are located on levels 9 and above, where guests staying in suites and club rooms can enjoy an elevated experience at the exclusive Regency Club Lounge.

Regency Club Lounge

Newly created as part of the hotel’s rebranding, the Regency Club Lounge embodies the essence of an urban resort unique to the Bay Area. The interior, inspired by the flow of wind and water, features refined materials such as a walnut buffet countertop that reflects the beauty and strength of nature. Guests can enjoy dedicated check-in and check-out, breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening cocktails in a serene, premium setting.

Parking Lot Operations

Sogo Development operates and manages parking facilities for both individual and corporate landowners — helping them make effective use of idle land and enhancing the value of commercial properties through efficient parking management.
We also oversee the operation and management of parking facilities at our own developments, including the “AREAREA” commercial complex and Hyatt Regency Tokyo Bay, contributing to greater convenience and accessibility for visitors.
As one of the essential infrastructures that support urban life, we are committed to providing safe, comfortable, and user-friendly parking environments that sustain local communities and business activities alike.

Marketing and Promotion Business

At Sogo Development, we provide a full range of marketing, media planning, sales promotion, and event production services for the commercial facilities and hotels we develop and operate. From strategic planning to on-site execution, we manage every aspect in-house to ensure consistency, creativity and impact.
We also operate and manage a large outdoor digital vision installed at the south exit of JR Tachikawa Station on the Chuo Line – serving as a regional platform for local information, advertising and community engagement.
